What a day for the Bianconeri in Chiusa Pesio today! In front of 6,000 fans Juventus beat AC Cuneo, newly-promoted side of the Lega Pro Seconda Divisione (the old Serie C2). Goals galore against admittedly a modest team, but the constant progress exhibited by the players, particularly in absorbing Antonio Conte’s tactical plans, is an excellent sign things are proceeding as scheduled for our boys in Italy.

Star of the day was without a doubt Mirko Vucinic, at his first appearance wearing Bianconero . The ex-Roma forward came on in the second half, proceeding to entertain his new fans (along with Antonio Conte) with a variety of plays straight from a master technician’s handbook: great ball control, lovely backheel flicks, good passes (one assist for Luca Toni) and even his first goal for Juve!

Coach Antonio Conte first down duet Alessandro Matri and Alessandro Del Piero in the game. Matri created the first goal for the "Old Lady" after utilizing bait Milos Krasic. Claudio Marchisio then managed to find the net Cuneo makes Juventus close the first half with the score 2-0.

After halftime, Conte entered Vucinic. The player who bought from AS Roma's 3-0 team managed to increase the advantage to maximize the bait after Andrea Pirlo. Cristian Pasquota then change the position to 4-0 before Vucinic gave two assists on two goals from Luca Toni.

Toni finally create a hat-trick after good cooperation with Pirlo. Juve last goal was created Giuseoppe Ruggeiro by white dots. Juve get a penalty after Vucinic was dropped in the forbidden box .

Juventus have made a bid for Hamburg winger Eljero Elia, the player’s agent has confirmed.

Hamburg signed Netherlands international Elia, 24, from FC Twente in 2009 and he has since been linked with a number of top European clubs.

It was reported this week that Juventus, having completed the signing of Mirko Vucinic from Roma, have now turned their attentions to Elia, and his agent has now confirmed a formal offer has been lodged.

“Juventus have already made a bid, and in the last few days I have spoken to [Juve transfer consultant] Fabio Paratici,” Frank Schouten told Itasportpress. “If an economical agreement can be found then Elia will be playing in Serie A.”

Hamburg are thought to be willing to accept a bid of around €10 million for Elia.

Paris St Germain have continued their summer spending with the arrivals of Salvatore Sirigu and Mohamed Sissoko at the Parc des Princes.

Mali international midfielder Sissoko makes the switch from Juventus, agreeing a three-year deal with the French club to return to the country of his birth.

“It’s a great pleasure to play for PSG,” he told the club’s official website. “I chose PSG because the club has a very ambitious project. The club made me want to come. I did not hesitate.

“I’ve never played in France. I now have the opportunity to experience this championship and impose myself. I hope to bring more to the team.”

Goalkeeper Sirigu, 24, has penned a four-year deal following a move from Palermo.

“I am very pleased to sign for PSG,” he said. “I am honoured. I will learn French as quickly as possible in order to communicate with my team-mates.”

PSG have now brought in six new players for the start of the Ligue 1 season, as well as former Inter Milan coach Leonardo as their sporting director, and the Brazilian has not ruled out further signings before the transfer window closes next month.

“Mohamed has played for Valencia, Liverpool and Juventus, and has extensive experience despite being only 26,” Leonardo said. “He will bring much to the club and the team.

“Salvatore is a great player. Playing abroad will be a great experience for him on a personal level and for his game. Recruitment is ongoing.”

It remains to be seen whether PSG will win the race for Palermo star Javier Pastore, who is also said to be heading for talks with Chelsea.

Juventus target Giuseppe Rossi looks set to remain at Villarreal after the forward’s agent claimed the Spanish club “have taken him off the market”.

Rossi, 24, has been strongly linked with a transfer away from Villarreal this summer, with Barcelona and Juventus mentioned as interested parties.

Serie A side Juve appeared to be in pole position to land his signature, but the proposed deal has now hit the rocks after Villarreal were given a cash boost by the sale of Santi Cazorla to Malaga.

“Giuseppe Rossi has officially been taken off the market after they sold Santi Cazorla to Malaga,” Federico Pastorello told Sky Sport Italia. “The economical problems which the club had have now been resolved by that [€19 million] transfer. Nevertheless, this decision has liberated Rossi as he’s now just focusing on playing football and scoring goals.

“He’s not used to being at the centre of such negotiations and tension. He wanted Juventus, but he’s accepted the position taken by the president of Villarreal.”

Italy international Rossi joined Villarreal from Manchester United in 2007. Last campaign he was in fine goalscoring form in Primera Liga, scoring 18 times in 36 outings.
